The MBC network has launched the promo of “Arab Idol”, the Arabic version of the most famous talent show “American Idol”.
“Arab Idol” opens the door of opportunity to young Arab people with exceptional voices and singing talents to show the world what they’ve got.
Contestants from 44 Arab countries chosen through the casting stage of the show, will get the chance to compete for a record deal with the production company “Platinum Records”.
Singers Ragheb Alama and Ahlam have been chosen to be on the judge panel whose third member has not yet been chosen nor announced.
The panel will choose those who are best at the auditions to take part in the challenge, and the judges get to decide who makes it to the finals.
The ultimate winner however, is chosen solely through the viewers’ votes in the final round.
“Arab Idol” will launch in December 2011 on the MBC channel.
