Many Egyptian stars are at the risk of failure this Ramadan after several Arabic channels refused to host their series during the holy month.
“Dubai” channel turned down Yousra’s “Chrabat Loz” claiming that it’s still in the filming process, although it did buy other shows whose filming has not yet concluded.
So does this mean that it’s Yousra they don’t really want?
Same thing goes for Fifi Abdou whose series “Keed Al Nisaa 2” was rejected on the basis that it brings nothing new to viewers other than what they witnessed during the first season.
As for actor Yehia Al Fakhrani whose works used to be on high demand in the Gulf region, his come-back series “El Khawaga Abdel Qader” was sold to Abu Dhabi channel for a second screening, after Ramadan, that is.
On the other hand though, Ahmed El Sakka and Adel Imam are on high demand, where “Khotoot Hamraa” was sold to 3 channels including Dubai and Kuwait, whereas “Ferqat Naji Atallah” will air on “Al Thafra” Emirati channel, and the second screening will be on Dubai channel.
Karim Abdel Aziz’s “El Horoob” will also be broadcasted this Ramadan in the Gulf, on the Abu Dhabi channel.
Do you think Robert Pattinson should forgive Kristen Stewart for cheating on him?
