Saturday’s episode of Scoop on MBC was exceptional since it only covered (Arab-wise) the stories behind Haifa Wehbe’s latest movie: Dokan Shehata. The show opened up with director Khaled Youssef who spoke very proudly about his latest masterpiece. Khaled clarified that his movie is a direct attempt to showcase the lives of more than 30 million Egyptians who live way below poverty.
Superstar Haifa Wehbe was then interviewed in the last segment of the episode looking as gorgeous as ever. Haifa commented that she was very happy with the success of her movie especially that she portrayed a character very close to her heart. Moreover, Haifa assured that she accepted the role immediately even before reading the script since it is an honor for any artist to work with Khaled, the very best student of the great Youssef Chahine.
