A Sum-up Of Prime 1 Of Star Academy 8

The much anticipated night finally arrived. The first prime of Star Academy 8 kicked off last night and everybody couldn’t wait to find out who the students are. Well their first appearance was not like we were used to it. All 20 appeared with no masks surrounded by riot forces in a dance number. You didn’t quite catch their names right?? Well here they are:
Saraf Farah, Mohammad Al Qaq, Lamia Jamel, Mohammad Daqdouq, Nesma Mahjoub, Aphram Salameh, Karima Ghaith, Mohammad Rafea, Layan Bazlamit, Karim Kamel, Houssam Taha, Nina Abdel Malak, Mohammad Abdallah, Christine Saade, Yasmine Hajjoul, Mohammad Rahmah, Oumayma Taleb, Abdel Salam, Ahmad Ezzat, Gilbert Simon.
The guest of the first prime was the legendary Warda Al Jazaeriyya, and Oumayma was the first of the students to perform and alongside Warda! Nesma and Mohammad Daqdouq came up next and sang a very touching duet for the unity of Christians and Muslims. Yasmine’s turn came and she sang “What’s Goin’ On”, leading the way for Gilbert Simon to sing “Long Train Runnin’”. Warda performed again and now it was her famous” Garrab Nar El Ghira”.
The whole prime last night was an ongoing pool of outstanding talent and impressive voices, aside from the students abilities of playing a variety of different musical instruments.
Karima, Mohammad Al Qaq, Lamia Aphram performed next, followed by Karim Kamel and Christine Saade with “Bailamos” and “Loca”! Mohammad Abdallah, Nina Abdel Malak, Abdel Salam, Houssam Taha, Mohammad Rafea and Mohammad Rahma sang together next while some of them played the guitar. Warda Al Jazaeriyya then takes the stage for the last time and sings “Harramt Ahebbak”. Sarah Farah and Ahmad Ezzat were the last to perform. And as we told you that the Star Academy 7 students will be making an appearance, and so they did. Both the new generation along with the old sang “Biktob Ismik Ya Bladi” in closure of the first prime.
