Star Academy 8 Students's Reactions After Prime 2

The second prime of Star Academy 8 witnessed the first departure among students, and that was Mohammad Al Kak. Karima and Layan went back as a result of the viewer's votes and the students respectively. Karima's nomination, as she says, was a result of her being upset about her mother's death and thus not being able to perform well at the evaluation. She wished she had sung something for her mother and she believed she would have done better being all in that mood. As for the couple Layan and Mohammad, their love story was all over the place. The two were competing head to head at the prime for their colleagues' votes and the latter chose Layan to return to the Star Academy journey. Kak exprsessed his profound sadness and regret for being the first to leave, and Layan was devastated upon returning to the Academy. She was crying and in a state of shock and Nina was there to console her. For a moment, Layan wanted to go after Al Kak and leave the Academy, not wanting to risk her relationship with him for stardom. When Mohammad Al Kak dropped by to bid his friends farewell, he and Layan discussed it and he told her to stay and make him proud, and promised that he will be waiting for her when the journey ends. There also was a bit of a misunderstanding between Efram and Al Kak about Efram voting for Layan instead of him, but they talked it over and Kak said his goodbyes properly to him. But looking at Layan today, and all the drama we witnessed on her behalf that night after prime 2, could that whole thing have been a mere publicity stunt? What will become of her and Kak? And will her staying at the Academy without him affect her professional performance and her personal well-being? After all, she did admit that if it weren't for Kak she wouldn't be at the Academy in the first place. On the other hand, someone else was quite upset, but it has nothing to do with love. Sarah arrived back after the prime all angry about the top 5 students list. She believes she should have been one of them, even if she's not at number 1, she really thought she deserved to be in that count. Mohammad Rafeh also felt like he had the weight of the world on his shoulders. He feels very responsible now to give his utter best since he's the only Jordanian guy left. Al Kak tried to lift Rafeh's morals reassuring him that all the Jordanians are supporting him. Tomorrow is the big day! Who do you think will be the next 3 nominees for this week?
