A New Song for Ibrahim Dashti After his Concert’s Cancellation

Star academy 6’ star Ibrahim Dashti revealed his preparation for a new Egyptian single to be released during the coming eid el feter. Ibrahim pointed out in an interview with Qabas daily, that he got many acting offers but he refused them, preferring to focus on his singing career. He also pointed out on the probability to shoot the song as a video clip.
In addition, a concert for Ibrahim and some of the contestants of the academy has been scheduled for 23 July in Egypt, and around 1500 tickets were booked.
Unfortunately the concert has been canceled for some reasons. Dashti’s facebook group revealed that the reason behind this, is that the concert date coincides with the date of the Egyptian revolution. The ministry of defense had reserved the place where the concert would have taken place and got the priority, although the organizers of star academy’s party had reserved it first. Reserving another place will take sometimes, and the candidates have other plans, thus the cancellation has been postponed for another date.
