Khawla leaves the Academy and a New Guest Arrives

This night's prime was somewhat ordinary, some moments were boring and others were a bit exciting. The prime kicked off with Lebanese Star Toni Hanna performing "Tal al sahar" alongside Michel, Aya and Bassma. The first tableau was folkloric in which Aya performes "dak al kaf", her performance was good and she was able to work the stage as well as the audience. the reasons that led to pick this week's nominees were many, Nasser was uncontrollably nervous, Zaher is totally off pitch and he lost his rhythm, as for khawla she suffers from undisciplined articulation. Zaher sang "by your side" and Nasser did his rap then khawla sang "al dounya hilwa". The second guest of the night was Julio Iglesias, he spread a romantic atmosphere while singing "you were always on my mind" with Mohammad bash. Diala sang "banadik" however she suffered from serious cacophony and her voice seemed weary.
A report about the students outing to Bekaa valley was screened, and they got to meet Michel Rmeih. Julio takes the stage again and he sings "je n'ai pas change" with Zaher while Michel Fadel plays the piano. It was so sensitive and gentle and Zaher proved that he wasn't suppose to be nominated.
Then a reportage about electing Lara as student representative. Lara comes on stage and talks to Hilda, her prize was a small puppy named Pixy, a new guest and an addition to the rest of the animals already in the academy. Roula gave Lara the choice to extend her term for one more week if she wants to and Lara accepts.
A tableau with a medical theme is up next and Tania and bassma sing "kif badawik" there was a noticable difference between the two, Tania was totally off pitch while Bassma was right on. Another reportage about how Lara, and Nasser prepared a new song "Womanizer" for this week's prime. Lara excelled and Nasser rapped her side. Toni Hanna and his band lit up the stage and he sang "Khatarna ala balak" with Ibrahim and Abdul Aziz. Tania, Lara, Khawla, Bassma, Bash, Nasser and Michel participate and dance in an Indian tableau.
A reportage about last week's prime which included haifa falling on the stairs and injuring her leg but that did not stop her from going through with the night. It seems that Haifa is cursed on Star Academy Stage, we all remember her fall last year during the rehearsals. We also saw that Tania forgot o turn her mic on when she sang with Haifa and she did not want anyone to hear her conversation with Michel A. Two students left the academy as well, Mohammad Siraj (in a legal way) and Michel Rmeih who withdrew after suffering from a tantrum. Toni Hanna returns to stage and sings with Yehia "Yaba yaba lah". The top 5 of the week are:
1- Bassma who had an excellent performance and won a trip to Italy with Yehia
2- Aya: she has a steady voice and self confidence
3- Lara: she is serious and hardworking and she works the stage
4- Yehia: he is steady and he performed quite well last week
5- Diala: she passed her test last week when her song was replaced with another just hours before the prime.
for the finale Bassma sings Ala Bali with Michel Fadel on the piano. The votes came in and the results are the following: Nasser: 50,47%, Khawla: 34,96%, Zaher: 14,57%
6 students chose to keep Zaher and 4 students picked Khawla, thus Khawla is the 7th student to leave Star Academy 6, we wish her all the luck notably that she has a good voice.
