Nawal Al Zoghbi is a Lebanese singer born in Jbeil, on 29 June 1972. She started singing in 1988 when she participated in the singing contest, Studio El Fann. Her international debut was then with her album entitled "Balai fi Zamani" which was a great success. Nawal improved her talent through studing music and Elie Dib helped her a lot, he who became later her husband. During the 90's, Nawal recorded a duet with the Lebanese star Wael Kfoury called "Min Habibi Ana". Throughout her musical career, Nawal released more than 10 successful albums such as: "Ayza El Radd" 1994, "Balai fi Zamani" 1995, "Habeit Ya Leil" 1997, "Mandam Aleik" 1998, "Ma Loum" 1999, "El Layali" 2000, "Toul Omri" 2001 and "Illi Tmannetou" 2002. Later, Nawal took a 2-year break a gave birth to her twin kids then she came back year 2004 with an album called "Eineik Kadabeen". In year 2006, she released another album called "Yama Alou" and in year 2008, the album "Khalas Sameht" with Rotana. In addition to these albums, Nawal recorded many patriotic songs for Lebanon and other Arab countries. She also won many prizes and awards during her career and sang in many countries around the world.
Nawal married Elie Dib in 1990 and they have 3 kids: Tia (1999) and the twins Georgie and Joewey (2002). Later, in 2008, she got divorced.
