Ragheb Alama Celebrates his 50th Birthday in Pictures

You don’t turn 50 every day and Ragheb Alama’s day was certainly special.
He woke up the morning of his birthday, June 7th, 2012, to find his house filled with flowers and he was showered with birthday wishes from the media, his fellow artists and his close friends.
His wife Jihane, and two sons Louai and Khaled, then surprised him with a cake, where he blow out the candles and tweeted a picture of him and the family around it.
He also received a special sentimental gift; a wooden box with little cut-outs and pictures from throughout his career, including interviews, concerts and family pictures.
The next day Ragheb travelled to Morocco for some leisure time, where he enjoyed the clean air and hospitable environment in Marrakech.
