The long-awaited memorial service for the great singer Warda Al Jazairia was finally held in Cairo, but the presidential elections made the turn-out very shy.
A lot of stars and public figures did not attend the service which had been scheduled from about a month back.
Actress Nabila Obeid was among the few Egyptian, Lebanese, Moroccan, Tunisian, Syrian and Khaleeji social and political figures, such as Dr. Yehya Al Jamal, Mostafa al Faqi, Dr. Khaled Zyede, Salma Al Chammaa, Jaber Al Baltaji, Dr. Ali Abou Chady… who took part in honoring the late singer and her heritage.
Nabila was dressed in black to show her mourning the loss of a good and close friend and she stated that she went into a state of depression when she found out about Warda’s death.
She also spoke of her relationship with the Algerian star and described the latter as an honest and kind-hearted person who loved life.
Nabila revealed that she was supposed to go see her the day she died, but she ended up saying her last goodbyes.
Do you think Robert Pattinson should forgive Kristen Stewart for cheating on him?
