Lara Scandar and Ahmad Ezzat: Best Rising Artists at Dear Guest in Pictures

Star Academy graduates Ahmad Ezzat and Lara Scandar were shining at the 2012 Dear Guest awards, where the Arab audience determine who wins what through their votes.
Ahmad won the Best Rising Artist award, while Lara wowed the crowd with her amazing performance of Arabic, English and French songs.
Although the stars were all glamorous and fabulous, but the organizers of the festival attacked the Lebanese singer Elissa, who was informed of her winning the Best Female Artist award but did not show any interest in the matter.
This upset the president of the festival Majed Hosni who found Elissa's attitude to be very arrogant and disrespectful to all Egyptian awards.
Other winners of the night included Fifi Abdou for her role in "Keed Al Nisaa", Jamal Sleiman for his role in "Al Shawarea Al Khalfiya", and Joumana Mrad for her role in "Kaf El Amar" and they all received honorary awards for their achievements.
