The 2011 MTV Video Music Awards in Pictures

The 2011 annual MTV Video Music Awards were held last night, August 28th, 2011 at the Nokia theatre in Los Angeles.
A great number of stars attended, be it guests or nominees.
The award show featured a tribute to pop princess Britney Spears who also won the award for best pop video.
The biggest winners of the night were Adele, Lady Gaga, and Katy Perry.
Lady Gaga took home 2 awards: Best Female Video and Best Video with a message.
Katy Perry won 3 awards: Video of the Year, Best Collaboration and Best Special Effects in a Video.
Justin Bieber who came with girlfriend Selena Gomez, also won Best Male Video.
Singer/Actress Beyonce made a surprise announcement that she and husband of 3 years Jay Z were expecting their first child.
