Despite the controversy surrounding Haifa Wehbe’s latest movie “Dokan Shehata”, the movie is still making its way into more movie festivals. After Cannes, “Dokan Shehata” enters the Algerian Arabic Film Fesival in Oran, Algeria. The Festival kicks off on the 23rd of July and ends up on the 30th with the participation of many movies from Egypt, Palestine, Syria, Morocco, and UAE.
Note that the remarkable Palestinian movie “The Salt of this Sea” will also be participating in the Festival. The movie discusses the story of a young Palestinian girl who returns back to her homeland after years only to find it occupied and totally not what she expected.
