We have been accustomed to Ahmed el Sakka's thrilling roles and he is now starring in his new action packed movie "Ibrahim al Abyad". He plays a young guy who infiltrates a gang and takes part in its criminal activity in order to avenge the death of his father and bring the gang down. The movie contained a great deal of violent, bloody scenes and although the acting and directing was on the spot, those scenes became a bit too much. The movie stars Ahmed El Sakka, Hind Sabri, Sawsan Bader and Mahmoud Abdel Aziz. Hanan Al Turk is the guest star and Yassine, Ahmad's son plays Ibrahim Al abyad as a child. Rumors were circulating that the movie in inspired by a true story of someone with the same name, who died three years ago. The family of that man accused the producers of twisting the real facts of Ibrahim al Abyad's life and sued them for 5 million Egyptian pounds for using the name.
On a separate note "Ibrahim al Abyad" was screened in Cannes Film Festival.
