After reaching over 2 million views on YouTube, the Moroccan contestant and Ragheb Alama maniac, Mohammad Amine Jadeel, decided to come clean about the episode he was featured in on Arab Idol.
In a recorded video message, Mohammad spoke of all the details of what happened, what was aired and what was edited.
He said that he loves acting and theater, and based on that, the crew in Morocco told him to play the role of a Ragheb Alama's fanatic, in an attempt to put the singer back on good terms with the Moroccans.
Everything the viewers saw Jadeel do and say on that episode was nothing more than a staged performance between him and all 3 judge panel members.
At first, Mohammad was speaking Moroccan, but Ragheb couldn't understand a word and so he was asked to speak and sing in the Lebanese dialect.
So, after singing a song for Asmaa Al Mnawar first, the Lebanese song he performed was the only one that was aired on TV.
He also revealed that at one point, Ahlam stretched her hand towards him and asked him to kiss it, telling him that this would be his ticket to fly to Beirut for the next round, but he refused!
Watch the video and tell us what you think...How far is too far for MBC in using laughter and sarcasm to promote a show rather than focus on the real talents?!
